Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes – Terms and Conditions

Acceptance and Confirmation of your Booking is subject to the following conditions:

Booking Deposit and Full Payment: A non-refundable booking deposit of 20% of the total rental cost of the holiday home is required at the time of booking. The balance of payment must be made at least two weeks prior to the rental commencement date. If a booking is placed within 2 weeks of the arrival date, full payment is required. Late payments may result in the Holiday Home booking being cancelled without advance client notification.

Method of Payment: We accept payment by laser, credit card, PayPal and electronic fund transfer.

Cancellation by Customer: In the event that you wish to cancel your holiday home reservation, the booking deposit will be withheld. We strongly advise that clients take out travel insurance to cover any costs associated with having to cancel a holiday.

Utility Charges: Heat and electricity are included in the rental cost of the holiday home. All payments outside of the rental (e.g. telephone) must be made at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel reception before departure.

Arrival and Departure Times: Check in time on day of arrival is from 14:00hrs. Check out time on day of departure is 10:00hrs.  Check in and check out takes place at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel reception.

Right to Decline: Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final payment.  In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should the reserved accommodation not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, or a full refund will be offered. However, no refund or liability will apply to a situation where a guest is requested to vacate, or leaves of their own accord, prior to the expiration of the booking.

Behaviour: Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes reserves the right to terminate this contract if the behaviour or conduct of the guest either prior to or during a holiday is likely to endanger the safety or well-being of other guests.

Accommodation Capacity: For Insurance reasons, the total number of clients staying in each holiday home must not exceed the stated maximum capacity.

Pets: No pets are allowed on the property

Liability: Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes, its employees or agents shall not be liable for any damages, loss, or personal injury which may be sustained by persons or property at any time during the reserved stay.

Complaints: In the unlikely event of a complaint, it should be brought to the attention of the site-manager immediately. Failure to register a complaint while on site may invalidate a future claim. Failing a satisfactory solution, you should contact Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes and a written complaint should be logged within 14 days of departure.

Bed linen and towels: Bed linen and Towels are supplied free of charge in all of our apartments. Towels are changed mid-week.

Cots / Highchairs: Requests for these must be made prior to arrival.

Disabled Persons: It shall be the consumer’s responsibility to disclose to Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes, prior to booking, any physical or mental condition of a member of their party which may be relevant. This helps us to determine the suitability of the holiday home apartment for that person. Fitzpatrick Castle Holiday Homes reserves the right to decline to provide an apartment for a disabled person where, in our view, the holiday home apartment would be inconsistent with the special needs of a person with a disability.
